The issue you are experiencing is with an AMD GPU, not the Intel ones. And in that case, it's not really a Stronghold game issue, but a standard desktop game issue. And on your PC it works great.
And yes, if you try it out you won't be able to change the resolution. :) But the game still runs fine and you can use all buttons and so on. The game has no unpacked files and I removed the game from all my PCs before I took the pictures. :)
Thank you for reply, and sorry, but I don't think this is a problem with the graphic drivers a mouse click on a game, this is a problem with the game itself cause when they run the game they can see their mouse and play the game fine but they can't change the resolution, so I'm a bit confused. And yes it's nice to see it in our downloads section for our users, but when people ask about this error message, they usually end up here asking what to do about it. :)
As in community, we have found many PC users with problems unlocking missions and levels in Stronghold Crusader 2013. As we got to know, so many users have this issue, that it's time to all of us check if we are able to get that thing done automatically by the game itself, and with only one click from the main menu.
So, here it is, the simple and fast mod that helps all players in fighting with the ridiculous higher resolution in the game. It's just simply put it needs to be saved to your hard drive and it should immediately change the resolution to 1024x768 for you automatically. Give it a try and let us know if the mod worked for you or you found any flaws. Just post in comments section and our friend Dr. Ali will take care of you. :)
Hi, really appreciate your work, and I like your site. I just posted a video of Stronghold Crusader running at 1280x800 and believe this the resolution of ALL the Stronghold Crusader videos I have found running in the past year. This is the max resolution that I have been able to achieve with any games or programs running in any browser...any clues to how a 1280x800 resolution might be achieved? I am assuming you will not tell me as I will not be satisfied with the answer. I trust your analysis and your recommendation. The most important thing is that I run 1080p YouTube videos in full screen and they are clear and sharp. I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad T420s. d2c66b5586
