dgVoodoo 2 is a graphics wrapper that converts old graphics APIs to Direct3D 11 or Direct3D 12 (as of version 2.7) for use on Windows 7 or newer. The wrapper fixes many compatibility and rendering issues when running old games on modern systems as well as enables the use of various overrides and enhancements, and third-party tools such as ReShade to enhance or improve the gaming experience.
This option allows for the selection of 3D accelerated cards that use the Glide rendering API.Some applications and games may need an older card model or older Glide versions, due to the advancements of Voodoo 3Dfx technology made over time. The different video cards also presents bias to games which may lock particular rendering capabilities and properties to certain 3Dfx cards and versions of Glide.
Emulation of true PCI access should theoretically never be disabled but there can be possible degradation of performance when left enabled. Only some games require accurate emulation of the PCI bus, so in most cases PCI bus emulation should be left disabled.
This option allows for the selection of internal virtual 2D (SVGA) and 3D accelerated cards. The other four non-dgVoodoo card types give specific emulated ATI/nVidia/Matrox driver versions and capabilities. The different video cards also presents bias to games which lock particular rendering capabilities and properties to owners of a real ATI, nVidia or Matrox card.
The amount of emulated video memory of the selected video card can be changed with this option.Be careful though, DirectX 7 and older applications can fail to launch if the emulated VRAM is set higher than 256 MB.Some games may require more VRAM to render textures at higher resolutions. There are also other advantages to increasing the VRAM.
Only recommended to use if an application is performing slowly, despite system specifications.Fast video memory access can speed up games like Toy Story 2, but can also completely break others.

I.G.I.-2: Covert Strike, known in the PAL region as Project I.G.I. 2, is a 2003 tactical shooter video game developed by Innerloop Studios and released by Codemasters. The game is a stealth-based first-person shooter. It is the sequel to Innerloop's Project I.G.I.. The original, published by Eidos Interactive, offered only single-player play, and no game saves. Covert Strike added multiplayer play and limited save game capability. Chris Ryan, a former Special Air Service operative best known for being the lone successful escapee of Bravo Two Zero, served as a consultant to the game.
The game's plot features a rogue Chinese General, "Wu Xing" as the primary antagonist. Xing orchestrates various events (such as armed robbery of advanced prototype technology from the Russian mafia) in order to get electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weaponry on a space rocket that he has launch control over.
The game was banned in China after six months of sales (having passed censor inspection with an incomplete copy of the game that lacked the final six levels of Chinese content), because it was perceived to damage the Chinese army's image.
The game's protagonist, David Jones, an agent working for the Institute for Geotactical Intelligence and former British SAS operator, was sent to the Carpathian mountains to recover a set of prototype EMP chips stolen by a group of Russian mafia from a high-tech US facility. After HALO jumping and infiltrating a weather station, Jones retrieves a chip that was stolen. The researchers at IGI conclude after close examination that the chip that Jones found was actually an improved version of the chip. Then his mission director (Phillip White having replaced an injured Rebecca Anya) commands him to go to retrieve the remaining EMP chips so that the IGI researchers can launch a full scale research on the chips to determine their real usage for which the Russian mafia stole them for. He is then transported to a local Russian storage facility where a convoy carrying the chips is due to arrive. He is instructed to obtain C4 explosives from the facility and destroy the bridge on which the convoy would pass and retrieve the chips by intercepting the convoy. After successful completion of his objective, he is then transported to a Russian weapons production facility to get the remaining EMP chips and their blue prints on White's orders. After this incident, he is betrayed by his pilot, Robert Quest and mission director, Phillip White as they take the EMP chips obtained by Jones. Jones is forced to jump from the helicopter in which he was being carried by Quest and he eventually finds himself at the borders of Ukraine and Romania, where he is forced to evade the incoming border patrols while being ill-equipped.
The game is divided into 19 missions. The story is presented in cutscenes, shown before and after every mission, with animated characters rendered in real-time and pre-recorded speech. Missions have objectives that must be completed before the mission ends.
At the start of a new game, a difficulty level can be chosen, changing the number of bullets Jones takes before dying, the intelligence of the enemy and group AI, and the number of save-games available.
The Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 is referred in-game as the "Socom" and comes with a suppressor and a usable LAM unit. It provides suppressed but effective shots; it is used by David in the Libyan mission, and Anya holds one in the last cutscene of the game. In multiplayer, it is erroneously stated to be chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum.
The Colt M16A2 is a starting weapon in the Russian missions, equipped with an M203 grenade launcher. It is used by the IGI special forces in the last cutscene of the game. It incorrectly fires in fully-automatic mode (like an M16A3) instead of three-round burst.
The Heckler & Koch G36E is only used by David in the Libyan missions. It incorrectly offers a 3-round burst option; the optional burst setting on real G36 variants is 2-round burst, nevermind the fact that the in-game weapon is modeled with an S-E-F trigger group, which lacks the burst function.
The Norinco Type 56-1 appears; like the Zastava M70B1 from the first game, it is wrongly referred to as an AK-47. It is used by Russian and Chinese guards and Libyan special forces. In multiplayer, it is incorrectly listed as being chambered in 5.45x39mm.
The Pancor Jackhammer returns from the previous game, its appearance again being incorrect since the real Jackhammer never entered production. It can be found in the Libyan missions, and is also used by Priboi and Zaleb. Once again it has an erroneous cylinder capacity of 12 rounds instead of 10.
The FN Minimi is used by Chinese guards, and can also be found in the Libyan mission. Like in the previous game, it is simply reloaded by changing the belt box without actually inserting the belt into the feed tray.
The M203 grenade launcher is attached to the M16A2. Contrary to most the rest of the returning weapons from the first Project IGI, in this game the M203 is reanimated to properly depict it as a single-shot, break-open weapon that must be reloaded after every shot, rather than some sort of shotgun pump attachment that launches grenades so long as the user has any on their person.
The RPG-7 is available in the game with a PGO-7 scope. It is first seen in the mission "Ambush", where David Jones takes one from a Russian convoy to destroy an APC. The RPG is also used by Libyan special forces and Chinese guards. 2b1af7f3a8
